Referrals

If a farmer is not eligible for assistance or if MFFLP is unable to help, we can make referrals to Minnesota attorneys who practice in the area of farm law. In some cases, the attorney may assist the farmer at a reduced rate or even at no charge.

Community Legal Education

MFFLP sponsors workshops, clinics, and other events where farmers can learn about farm-related legal issues. MFFLP plans to organize a series of workshops throughout the state after the 2007 Farm Bill is passed, so that farmers can make informed decisions about their farming operations. Feel free to contact us if your organization would like MFFLP to make a presentation to your organization or gathering.
